Mark was the original rock fan here at ATRL - but a different type of rock. His favorite band was Umphrey's McGee, and he personified the hackeysack playing, bongo sportin' hippie that roams college campus nationwide. He also happened to be bi (and, as happens to most "bi teenagers, fully gay.) How he handled two wildly different extremes is what made him interesting, and makes his absence today all the more tragic. (Although I was partly responsible for that - sorry y'all!)
