Secondly two things on her most successful hits being pop. since beam me up scotty almost all Onika's songs since then have followed a model; rap with singing chorus or interludes. So regardless of the "genre" they fit the nicki minaj model and thats what matters.

Lastly on people respecting better lyricist. I agree but keep this in perspective Nas won lyrically and in the fans of hip hop and Jay Z won in terms of wealth and other things. Both can win in a way, so why is it that we must tear each other down. In 10 years time Nicki, Eve, Remy, Kim, Queen Latifah and Missy will all be remembered so why you all angry?
