I'm the biased one? Yes, that makes loads of sense.
I gave all three albums a fair chance: I listened to them all the way through again, then revised my ratings once I had a clearer picture of how they compared to each other. For me, the great revelation was how dated and boring
Stripped sounded now. I enjoyed it at 13, but apart from standout tracks like "Cruz" and "Impossible," a lot of it is incredibly mediocre and self-indulgent. My ratings ranged from two 3's to one 10—which sounds perfectly fair, in my book.
