The performance was AMAZING, but I don't think the general public is really aware of it now, let alone in 10 years. As great as Adele's performances are, I don't think any particular one will be remembered in 10 years.
PREACHHHH (even though I kinda hate you for this thread).
Youtube actually is a determinant of how it will last. You know not everyone buys music...and something extremely popular on Youtube definitely has a better chance of being remembered
The fact that people in the US still wouldn't buy RTW after this "most amazing performance of the past 10 years"...BUT IT HAS 50 MILLION VIEWS ON YOUTUBE.
I included FF b/c FF, BTW & 4 were the 3 albums that were discussed and argued over endlessly on ATRL in terms of how they'd do in 2011. Few people talked about 21 until it started becoming a phenomenon.
True, but I was just saying it wasn't really memorable you know. I think the most memorable album's are 21 & BTW, that's it. I don't find 4 very memorable so I left that out with FF.
Femme Fatale: Just a typical Britney comeback album, it has the standard Britney songs and tries to be something great but never really reaches the point of a In The Zone or Blackout.
Born This Way: The album that could have been HUGE beyond it's opening week sales of 1M+ I think singles choices are the main problem with the era now so other than maybe the lead single I don't really see this album being remembered like The Fame/The Fame Monster eras will be.
4: The era where Beyonce finally placed herself in the leauge of legends. Stepping outside of the box and daring to finally go the left when everyone else wants her to go to the right, I think this era will be remembered in 10 years for being a classic R&B album and the era where we got to see the REAL Beyonce.
Which is why half of the best selling singles ever are already FORGOTTEN? No one can even remember 3/4 of the best selling songs of 2010, let alone 2009 or back. Everyone knows songs are not remembered for their sales, as a matter of fact the most memorable songs ever are mostly chart flops.
The fact that people in the US still wouldn't buy RTW after this "most amazing performance of the past 10 years"...BUT IT HAS 50 MILLION VIEWS ON YOUTUBE.
Beyonce stans needs to let Run This World go......
Gaga stans let Judas die, why won't the Bey stans just accept the flop song for what it was? We all know Beyonce is a successful woman, but RTW was not one of her successful endeavors
