I actually really liked it, and I wasn't expecting to. I read the book and thought it was just okay (and never bothered to read TST or TDC) a couple of years ago.
The maze was amazing though, and I liked the characters. And the way they ended it was brilliant; that's how you do a cliffhanger. It both gave me enough resolution to keep me satisfied yet hyped me up enough to make me want a sequel.
This movie is actually amazing, I don't know why it isnt getting rated higher. The only complaint I have is the lack of character development and backstories for some of the characters like why Gally is so against leaving the maze - it was kind of left unexplained.
Saw this few days ago. It was okay, but whole these stories and plots with individuals fighting against system got boring and repetitive. Is there a sequel planned? I mean, they gave us a hint at the end.
The Hunger Games>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>The Maze Runner>>>>>>>>Divergent
