Shane finally gets what he deserves. And rightfully so.

That guy at the CDC whispered someting to Rick in the finale for season 1. Maybe it had something to do with the virus becoming/being airborne. OR Shane became a zombie because that knife Rick used to stab him was infected (from killing other zombies). and maybe Randall turned because he was constantly bleeding in that barn where the walkers use to be kept.
