You're taking this way too literally. Wearing woman clothing is not even what I'm talking about What I am talking about is what makes up the personality of each gender. For guys we have to be all masculine and tough and "be a man". We have to grow some "balls" and crying is not acceptable because its wimpy. For girls you have to be all pretty, wear make up and you're expected to know how to do the household tasks even if you have a job. Clothing does not have much to do with what I'm talking about and its rather more on how we are suppose to act. Its been shown that boys who are overly masculine leads them to delinquency and other issues like being sexist. The same can be said for girls who are too feminine.

What I am saying is that being too lopsided onto one gender is not super good while being a mixture is better. You can disagree with this and be all the masculine guy you want to be if you want but I don't want myself and future generations to be molded into cookie cutters that we should follow since we are a certain "gender".

The idea here is to raise your child without the limits of gendered stereotyping. "Make him choose" kinda goes against this? I mean considering gendered stereotyping is at least one major issue we have nowadays. "But they need to have an identity" then let them have an identity. Don't make them pick and choose, let them build their identity by letting them choose what they want to play with. It's seriously not that hard or terrible a concept.

on a personal note, it's the idea of basing your identity solely on your gender is what's bad. Recognizing and accepting your gender is one thing, but it's another to assume dominance over another because their gender is somehow deemed inferior to yours. Also if another person doesn't practice all characteristics of your labeled gender then they are also inferior.

Ironic how the people complaining about him possible turning out crazy are actually the people who'll make him feel insecure. If the parents are not forcing it on him, good for them. And half the people talking about it not being "natural" needed to consult a Sociology textbook and reevaluate their perception of "natural."

If hi parent's are forcing their son to do this, then it's their fault, but it seems like he wants to do it. Projecting baseless judgement on children limits what they potentially could do for the world.

So is providing them solely with boy clothes letting them choose as well? No one questions when you follow the standard gender role we place on kids but if people do something out of the box, hell is let loose. Kids should definitely have the option to choose, don't get me wrong but this is just parents not following what society tells us to do which is boys = blue and girls = pink. Either way the parents are the ones who decide what the kids get until the child is of an older age where they can make their own decisions.
