The downside is Demi has no real connection with the song. There's no backstory or sob story to go along with the ballad :\ so it might seem fake to some people because she's right there on stage emoting even when she's in a happy relationship.. basically it's acting.

No doubt though that she can pull off the emotion required in this song.. she should fix her hand movement though.. they seem awkward whenever she performs this..

I understand what they mean though it would add to the single's effect to SUCCESS. But it's not required. Plus, you shouldn't be calling it stupid cuz it isn't

SHE IS FINALLY PERFORMING AT THE GRAMMYS!! this is so huge so happy and proud of her. She's come such a long way, this was completely impossible 2 years ago, we need to be grateful for her amazing new team getting her every award show slot. even if it is just a tribute, it's still a huge honor and that means the Grammys are showing they respect her and gives indication she could be more considered for nominations next year.

what the hell man?! it makes no sense. you can be as happy as you want, why can't you live a song with a story from your past? i mean...look at adele, she has it all...a husband, a kid, yet her latest album is about you know...not what she has now.

I'm saying it's a plus to have an actual story behind it. I never said she can't sing the song or that it's gonna do bad because of it. I don't get why people are attacking me on my opinion ? But yeah I agree with the Adele example
