If you were to place a newborn baby into a room and restricted its communication with the outside world, I guarantee that baby would grow up into a human being without prejudice and this ideology that it's okay to be bad mannered, hate each other, shoot each other and create wars across our own world we live in. Everyone can blame and hate Gaga all they want for refusing to be the perfect popstar that everyone wants (see: Britney Spears circa 1999), but the realisation is that we don't actually have to be that way. We can only blame ourselves for the way everyone is in society today and attempt to change the world for the better. Gaga's not the first person to lead the movement and she won't be the last, but she can't do it alone.
I already know a popstar that I like and think is all round "perfect" and to be quite honest, she bores me outside of the job she does. If I wanted to listen to music and watch music videos, I'd happily do that and not have bothered to sign up to a forum like this to go the extra mile and take time out of the one life I have to be so obsessed with these
people. I like artists who are also
human, not a robot. Who have flaws, like myself, who isn't perfect and does actually have an opinion of their own.
Why are we so obsessed with artists looking pretty and hitting number one? If that was really the case, I think people would get bored pretty easily. It's a competitive market and Gaga's just one very famous artist who has now chosen to rebel against everything she was told to do, to be successful. Hasn't it become apparent since 2010-2011 that she literally doesn't care?
That is all.
