Two weeks is perfect, one is not enough to push the album. On The Rocks needs first to establish himself saleswise then the album can come in.
And yall know how radio are with Nikki, they wait the release week to finally play her.

Well then I hope she won't spend too much time just focusing on the UK, other countries will be waiting too. But there's no point even talking about these things, Sony & her team already planned all of it so we can just sit and wait to see what happens next.

So why didn't they just put it on American iTunes too? Maybe they plan to actually promote "On the Rocks" here.

So I thought this song was about drinking, but what if it's actually about sex? Like a guy having her about to climax or something. I'd be here for it

Some of the lyrics of the second verse:
''And now you're out there, without me
breaking hearts again, oh different
But let me try to tell ya, that love will show ya
that you will break your own heart in the end.''
It's a pretty good song, but I doubt it's strong enough to do anything on the charts.

That's wouldn't make sense, since the coverart is already revealed, and the pre-order is already up both without feature
Also the Cosmopolitan interviewers who heard it, didn't mentioned a rap, just that it was hella catchy/couldn't get out their head

It's very different than Your Love, Your Love is probably more catchy and instant, but On The Rocks doesn't get annoying and feels like a grower. Yet I don't think radio will give it a chance.

Is it a mid-tempo or ballad? Urban or pop?

Seeing the lyrics, it looks like a ballad ... can't wait.
Anyway his description is too vague.
I just hope the vocals are on point, that's all that matters. I need her to show case her talent on this song, i don't care about catchyness.

How explicit is it? Or did you hear a clean version?
