We have to feel pressured into hiding this about ourselves until the right time and then revealing it in some unnecessarily emotional sit-down filled with either lots of hugs, lots of swearing or both

I shouldn't have to make a big announcement that I'm gay to my family because it's just awkward as hell and if they're gonna find out, they're gonna find out in the bombshell type of way. I'm gonna pull a Beyoncé when I officially make a relationship official. Or be like, this is my boyfriend and what not.
I don't need to make a huge big deal if I don't want to.
