Groups were only active when they were created cause everyone was excited about the new layout, then people realized they weren't that great and moved on.
It's true, but if you look back in that thread in The Lounge, there was kinda a consensus that:
No official threads + Discussions in groups = People will post in groups
Given that that's not the case... burn it down!
No perpetual official threads, though, no matter what! New threads every month.
Shhh, the secret is, they'll still be official threads. I mean, they'll serve the same purpose. Only for the most popular artists who are about to release a new album, like our good friend Reeces said.
There will just be a new thread every month or so, to help with traffic/server issues.

Groups were exciting at start, esp when u got to join different groups. But it's never really a good place for discussions.

I say, when the thread gets over a certain amount of posts time for a new one. That's what another fourm does. That'd be better than a new thread every month.
