In my town of like 25,000 (and it's a college town.) there were only like 10 guys on there.

It's a nice quote and i realize it can be used against those "no fems only str8 looking" type of guys, but to me personally it sounds generalizing and discriminatory. However it's frowned upon for gay guys to say they dont like feminine stuff cuz the you will be labeled as a gay homphobe, which, coming from a significant part of human population that was discriminated and killed over similar prejudices is hypocritical to say the least. I personaly dont like those aspects of human personality tied to gay people not because i think feminine gays are inferior or are not real men, but because simpy thats how i am, i dont consider myself feminine and its not something i chose to be, its just like me being gay, i dont have control over it, and i cant change it.

My point being: some people discriminate and belittle themselves without even realizing they are doing it, and are essentialy helping all those people by using their logic while judging anyone different from them, so dont do it

(idk if im making sense since im tired and i dont like talking about this stuff so yeah)

So true. It's usually a hit or miss. The guy that I would be dating right now if I wasn't two hours away until next year was actually a no face guy. He's the nicest guy that I've met on Grindr and one of the most attractive to me. So I think it's something that could work. Just gotta roll the dice and not get too attached in hopes that they're ugly or something.

In theory these apps should be a great idea, but in practice I just find a bunch of creeps only looking for hookups who literally start a conversation with "need head????" I mean, I'm not condemning people for using it for hookups, but you could at least trying to start a polite conversation first. And then there are guys who also have disgusting "no asians, no blacks" or "straight-acting only" in their profile

Right now I just check Grindr every once in a while (and I have a nice picture of the ocean rather than one of myself) to see if there are any guys I recognize. Kinda useful if you spot a guy who you weren't sure about.

I find the people who just put pictures of their ass or dick in the profile picture, come off the most thirsty. I understand wanting to flaunt your body and your thirsty but damn. Can't we leave a little to the imagination so people can be more curious to get to know you for anything other than your physical looks.
