I'm so tired of the same people performing. I'm here for Beyoncé but I hope she doesn't perform or attend (even though I think she will). Pink, Jay-z, AK can have 3 seats as well. My Gaga is getting overexposed. I wish non mainstream/underrated artists will kind of make a petition against the media cuz they receive no love. The media make & break careers, they give no chance to some & MTV is building up this BS. It's getting ridiculous that we see the same people all the time nominated & performing, it's unfortunate. Janelle Monae, Kelis, M.I.A., Of Montreal, Solange, Travy McCoy, Nas & Damian Marley, Drake, B.o.B., Rick Ross, MGMT, LaRoux & so many more, they have some amazing stuff to promote & can perform! I'm all for diversity so it's very irritating to see the same although I love each.
Ok as much as i agree that same people are performing every year, i'm delighted to see that P!nk is performing again, she just doesn't have what to promote anymore but i take that MTV want people who can blow the roof and after what she has done last year at the VMAs and the Grammy's she is a sure bet for many viewers. Altho i don't think she is gonna do stunts again. And for the people who are saying that she is doing nothing special, pure jealousy is talking out of them!
