I think it'll take a lot more momentum to debut in the top 10 again. With Can't Be Tamed she was still riding off post-Party In The USA hype. I'm sure the Queen will deliver though. I'm ready for her work with Dr. Luke to be another mega-smash.

#7? Sis. I'm gonna be optimistic for a second. If she gives us Party In The USA-sequel teas, with a new label she is headed for the top 5. For a split second the public might be on her side because this will be viewed as her triumphant come back. If she delivers something tween-friendly and club friendly she's coming back to SCALP some certain unmentionables.

First we have to actually get new material from her. This early 2013/Tour 2013 is seeming like the worst possible scenario ever.
1. Sales will be low during January-Early May
2. She'll most likely pay the single dust, go back to Haiti and do a random stadium tour (aka 2011)
3. The song will be a mid-tempo ballad, or something with rock influence.

She really needs to jump on the Calvin Harris/David Guetta train for some sure Top 10 material. Can't Be Tamed made the Top 10 solely because of the hype PITUSA built, and she doesn't have that anymore.

What she NEEDS to do is get the lead single out at the end of this year (October/November-ish). Get Dr. Luke for the single, promo It like crazy, and release the album early 2013(February/March-ish)

Dr. Luke and Max Martin need to go HARD on her lead single. The rest of the album can be filler, but I need her to at least go gold with this next album. I'm hoping for a lead single in middle of October, and the album drops sometime around early December (so she can get some Christmas sales in).

She's been hinting new music since late 2011. Can't really expect much till somebody official announces something.

I think we're all underestimating Miley's business knowledge. She got her first #1 album when she was 14, I feel like she knows more about the market and charts than we do. She's obviously aware of CBT's performance and If I'm right, she's set on redeeming herself. There's no way a Dr. Luke/Cirkut produced lead single is going to flop. Worst case scenario you get a "What The Hell" level success, but even that just missed the top ten by unfortunate timing with Britney's single being out the same week.

she knows what she is doing! with a new record label and management she should be fine. plus if rock mafia releases "Morning Sun" that can create some buzz as well as her "Dance (Ass)" cover. idt the material will be her issue, it's her image, and that's what she needs work on.
