When I went to this summer camp in 2008, one of the kids was like "Rap music is trash; it's all about sex, drugs and money." Boy used to have me STEAMING.

You see, people are generally stupid. They will hear one song and assume it represents the entire genre. That's why many K-Pop fans were upset about Gangnam Style smashing in the U.S.

Yes, a LOT of rap is trash and concerns the above-mentioned topics, but certainly not all of it.

I DO sense a BIT of underlying anti-Black racism as well.
