Celeb News: Demi calls out Taylor

She's not wrong. Taylor's girl squad is like a glamour magazine. Designed to make young girls go, "Wow, I want to look like that. I want to be like them. That's what I'm supposed to look like."
I know a lot of gay forum males wouldn't understand, but it's incredibly damaging to a young girl's mind growing up seeing these images as "the norm", and what they'll be willing to do (starve themselves, drugs, put up with shaming, suicide attempts etc.) just to get there.

As Darren said, it's a song about having a fight with a friend, without any lyrics relating to Katy or anything specific at all. How exactly does it smear her reputation? You need to explain before I can seek help

Honestly I get what she is saying, she just needs more media training bc she always words things wrong. I wish she would (or her people) ban questions that could potentially get messy like this

By the way, you even admitted that she was a terrible person. I'll find the post later if you want.

From a bitter ex?! WOW, what sources you have

So what do you propose the solution to this is? Should Taylor only hang out with people who are over 180 pounds on a daily basis? Should she tow Lena Dunham with her everywhere she goes?

2. When I say Taylor is a bad person im emulating or parodying the people who genuinely think she's evil or satanic Taylor is a wonderful person. I stan her because she is kind, sweet, and genuinely charitable. She has a huge heart for her peers, her fans, her friends, and her family. The worst she's "guilty" of is writing songs based on her personal experiences.

Katy never confirmed anything because there was nothing to confirm. It was obvious, Taylor didn't even try to hide it. And you can't just ignore the origin out of convenience, there would have been nothing to bury if Taylor didn't (as usual) make her private life public by writing a song about it and singling it out by bringing it up pre-album release as a tool to generate hype for her album. And it worked.
She did a ****** but effective thing, the least y'all Swifties could do is own it.

yeah, it makes a lot more of sense to believe Taylor tried to destroy Katy's "reputation"( ) I mean, she paid for the video with her own money, invited all those celebrities and then released those posters JUST to destroy Katy.
maybe she was just promoting her 4th single so the 1989 era could last longer? naaah, not a possibility AT ALL.

Because they're clearly not real friends...? Who really has 15-20 "besties" that they hang around with all the time. It's a PR group designed to influence young girls (Taylor Swift's core fanbase) and subliminally pressure them into thinking they need to have a slim body to fit into society. This kind of thing has been going on for decades, centuries even.

1. Taylor wrote a song, yes. That song was vague, bland, and lacked detail. Therefore, the song itself is irrelevant. The interview is what we're discussing here.
2. Taylor didn't use Bad Blood as a tool for hype. She didn't only talk about Bad Blood, she didn't even bring it up of her own vocation. The Rolling Stone interviewer specifically asked her about the background of all 13 songs on 1989. Bad Blood only garnered hype after the TMZ story of Katy's team confirming that she was the star that Taylor was vaguely alluding to.
3. Taylor never alluded to Katy again. At all. Not one bit since September 2014.

Taylor doesn't have 15-20 besties
Her closest friends are childhood friends Abigail and Brittany, and then Selena.
Taylor isn't genuinely going around pretending these people are her best friends for life, she just enjoys spending time with them. Nor does she hang out with them "all the time," you see a full group of Taylor's friends maybe like 3 times a year, other than that she hangs out with revolving sets of like 2-3 girls a night.
She's not subliminally instilling bulimia into anyone, that's perhaps the most ridiculous, unfounded conspiracy I've ever heard.

How are those not normal body types?
If you walk outside you'll see tall skinny women, some even skinnier.
Skinny women are now shamed for being thinner, even if they have fast metabolisms (common)
Like wtf

!!!!
This is the one thing that the Kats will not accept.
Even if Taylor went on record in Rolling Stone and said "Bad Blood is about this bitch Katy who stole all my dancers and stole my man, and I don't like her anymore!"... she hasn't said a word since. Whereas Katy inserts herself into all of Taylor's feuds and brings her up at every opportunity two years after the fact.

Demi has never liked Taylor. I feel like Taylor was probably nasty to her behind the scenes.
But mess at her setting herself up for another embarrassing apology and backtrack with the "normal body" remark. Damn it must suck to be Demi these days.

Wrong. Demi herself has talked about how Taylor was the only person who genuinely cared when she was in rehab.
Demi just deteriorated over the years for some reason.

It's impossible that Taylor Swift might have a group of 10 or so close friends? The PR Illuminati conspiracy makes much more sense I guess
