Definition of generic: Relating to or descriptive of an entire group or class; general.
Is this the general sound that pop girls are using? Is this descriptive of the whole pop music genre? Is this mainstream right now? NO, it's ok if you don't like the song or if you haven't gotten into it, but currently this genre (EDM) isn't mainstream, the Gaga haters (who hate most of the other pop girls as well) said that EDM is simply dead and the current trend is simple music that the world can relate to. Admit it, this is NOT generic, if you think it is you're delusional and hypocritical.

I dunno where y'all voting No are from, but here in the UK I've heard this song a thousand times over already. There's nothing special or new about it, it'll fit in perfectly with every club playlist. The vocals are a bit unusual, but the production is very generic.
Even though i really dislike Lady Gaga, i must admit Roar is far more generic than Applause. Applause isn't generic because it's really outdated. No one does that kinda music anymore! As for the Work Bitch, hah, you tried.
Britney is on the forefront of the pop movement while basic bitches are still bubblegum pop. I expect nothing less from the Princess of Pop, the legendary... Miss Britney Spears!
