^ I think they have greater chances than Gaga, and for me they are Artist Of The Year...
The last number is the sum of sales... The first number is the 2009's sales (based on Billboard's year -- 12/6/08-11/28/09)

agreed they are great there last album was freaking awesome and the have domnated the singles charts for ages plus the tour has been pretty good to

It's Artist of The Decade lo..Gaga emerged on the industry like 2 yrs ago..how come she could make up for another 8 years??

^ Sold in sum, Black Eyed Peas ruled the charts for 26 weeks straight at #1 and additional to weeks they spent at The Top 10. Two #1 airplay hits, Two #1 Pop chart hits, etc., etc.... I don't think Gaga's sales will make up for it and even if, then Michael Jackson would be included, his songs in sum outsold Gaga's sum by nearly a million this year...

The only thing the BEP have accomplished this year is to become the most hated act ever.  And their sales..  For someone who stayed 541616 weeks on the top and to sell 1,5 million is humiliating. They've turned themselves into singles act now.

O THANK THE LAWD somebody sees them the same way I do. Anyone could have produced that manufactured pop that BEP had. I admit I loved both songs when they came out... but looking back it could have been done by any pop artist. Imo, their album sounded like watered-down verisions of of BBP and IGF. I regret buying their album.
GAGA PRODUCES MASTERPEICES, you cannot deny that her music is great, and she never fails to impress. GAGA for artist of the year. She is owning some artists sho have been around way longer than her.
Also, all of her singles have gone #1 on airplay (BR was just released so haters calm down).
All of her singles have gone #1 on Dance/Club Play (JD peaked @ 2, and BR was just released.
All of her singles have gone top ten on the Hot 100 and the Pop 100/Top 40 Mainstream.
Oh, and did I mention the Queen Bey aked her to collaborate with her.
And artist of the year is not just about the charts... GaGa has become a cultural phenomenon this year, the BEP have lowered their status, imo. GaGa redefines pop musc, BEP does what is hot at the time. They don't take risks, they are boring.
And i dont mean to be rude, but GaGa's album had 4 singles that did magnificent.
BEP had two singles that went number one.... and then well, the next single went top ten but then kinda dissapeared.

In your opinion, I think bep have produced as masterpeice with E.N.D it better than The Fame , that isnt to say i dont like The Fame. And dont new artist tend to do well at the begining? it something diffrent so it easyer at the start it harder in the third or forth album to carry on being sucessful
