I'm not even a fan, but I think Unapologetic is her best album so far too. It has more variety while still sounding cohesive. She sounds good too. Don't care what the reviews say, make up your own opinion, because reviews are written by people like you and me. IMO, if you ignore the David Guetta and Chris Brown feature tracks and add the bonus track 'Half of Me', the album becomes pretty good. I can honestly say that she won me over a bit with this new era and I could care less about the whole Chris drama. It's her life. Don't let it affect your musical experience.

Yeah well, you know, I get why people tend to do it, but it has absolutely nothing to do with the music itself. It can be ANYTHING. That's what music is all about. It's a form of escapism and giving you comfort in the end. It gives you the choice of interpretation so why not use it already? The songs don't necessarily have to be about Chris Brown. Sure she sings about it, but that doesn't mean you are forced to have the same mindset as her. This is why I can't take critics serious anymore. Do they really have the power to form our opinions? No. Unfortunately, most of us are influenced and even manipulated by anything with numbers. We need to seek comfort in music, not numbers.
