Is there any more polarizing Pussycat Dolls songs than "I Hate This Part"? Fans regard the piano-driven heartbreak ballad as the group's greatest stab at respectability, while haters find it to be an overblown, screechy mess. Most voters seemed to fall in the former camp—personally, I find all the melodrama to be a delicious guilty pleasure—but a couple of very low scores sunk its chances in this rate.

I hate IHTP for the same reasons I hate everything PCD - it's not a group song. It's a song by some girl who can't make it on her own. Where's the group? Where are the harmonies?

Well, when half of your group members are literally just backup dancers, there aren't a lot of voices to harmonize with...

So does that mean you just dislike a song like "I Hate This Part" on principle, or do you find it to have uniquely awful qualities as well?

Thats why I used to be such a Nicole fan...... she slayed those songs and they gave her such good material. Her solo career is an EPIC FAILURE because she doesn't realize nobody wants her to be an artist but just a puppet.


Girl is very En Vogue-ish so I see why the gerls got rid of it. Cater 2 U and Emotions should be next from the DC catalog if it follows the trend. Just a mess this rate is. Bug A Boo and Bootylicious should have been OUT!!!

All but three of its scores were crowded in the 7-8 range.

Ugh, so underrated. What a perfect bridge/middle eight. Should have lasted MUCH longer than Cater 2 U.
