I just don't understand how so many people consider this a bad opening week. Given the circumstances that A) Heartbeat Song was a complete underperformance, and wrong single choice to start off the era B) She's basically been on hiatus since she release People Like Us (Tie it Up doesn't count, and she only promoted WIR during the holidays) C) She's had no absolutely no promotion - these numbers are very respectable.
I was worried that Kelly wasn't even going to be able to pull 65K without a challenge, and now she'll probably open with the close end to 80K. These are good numbers for what the era has been so far. Either way, she's already accomplished all there is to accomplish in her career so it's not like she's out to prove anything now she's just doing what she loves so let her be.

i mean Carrie had the same promo for SITW. literally 2 promo spots and it was a GH album and yet opening more + Kelly had a generic pop candy radio hit which Carrie didnt have
what happened to the orginial American idol?

People are doing the ****ing most on this album cover. It's not even bad, let alone offensive enough to deter potential buyers, y'all are ridiculous It even looks nice as the shiny foil of the physical copy, which is lucky because Kelly is a strong physical seller.
