P!nk's "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" dips from #10 to #11, ending (for now at least) a four-week run in the top 10.
"As Long As You Love Me" by Justin Bieber featuring Big Sean jumps from #15 to #12 in its eighth week. Digital sales rank: #8 (130K). I expect it to become Bieber's third top five hit, following "Baby" (featuring Ludacris) and "Boyfriend"…
Cher Lloyd's "Want U Back" dips from #13 to #14 in its ninth week. The song has climbed as high as #12. Digital sales rank: #10 (117K)…
Demi Lovato's "Give Your Heart A Break" jumps from #18 to #16 in its 19th week...
Alex Clare's "Too Close" jumps from #24 to #21 in its 20th week.
Mumford & Sons' "I Will Wait" is the top new entry on this week's Hot 100 at #23. Digital sales rank: #4 (153K). This makes it the group's highest-charting hit to date, topping "The Cave," which peaked at #27. "I Will Wait" is the first single from the group's second album, Babel, which is due Sept. 24.
Babel is the group's follow-up to Sigh No More, which is one of the best-selling albums of the past few years. It has sold 2,377,000 copies. Two songs from the album, "The Cave" and "Little Lion Man," have sold a combined total of 3,422,000 copies. "The Cave" received a Grammy nomination for Record of the Year of 2011. The group was nominated for Best New Artist of 2010.
It doesn't take a genius to see that Babel is likely to enter The Billboard 200 at #1. It will be the group's first #1. Sigh No More spent two weeks at #2 in February 2011.
Minaj's "Pound The Alarm" vaults from #50 to #29 in its third week. If this follows "Starships" into the top 10, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded will have surpassed Pink Friday in terms of spawning top 10 singles. "Super Bass" was the only top 10 hit from Pink Friday.
Carrie Underwood's "Blown Away" jumps from #47 to #38 in its sixth week. It's her 17th top 40 hit…
The Lumineers' "Ho Hey" jumps from #55 to #49 in its 10th week…
Chris Brown's "Don't Wake Me Up" jumps from #68 to #53 in its seventh week…
Train's "50 Ways To Say Goodbye" jumps from #71 to #54 in its fifth week….
"Pop That" by French Montana featuring Rick Ross, Drake, Lil Wayne jumps from #78 to #70 in its fifth week.
Taylor Swift's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" (great title) debuts at #72. It's the first single from her fourth studio album Red, which is due Oct. 22. The song is expected to jump to #1 (or very close to it) next week. Stay tuned.
Ed Sheeran's "The A Team" jumps from #92 to #85 in its fifth week…
Future's "Turn On The Lights" debuts at #89. It's from the band's debut album Pluto, which debuted and peaked at #8 on The Billboard 200 in April…
Jake Owen's "The One That Got Away" debuts at #93. The song (not the Katy Perry song) is from his album Barefoot Blue Jean Night.
Lady Antebellum's "Wanted You More" re-enters the chart at #94. The song, from Own The Night, has climbed as high as #34…
The Black Keys' "Gold On The Ceiling" re-enters at #99. The song, from El Camino, has climbed as high as #94…
Green Day's "Oh Love" debuts at #100. The song is from the band's forthcoming album, Uno!, which is due Sept. 25.
