This is a huge mess and Kelly knows it the whole time, you can see it in her face For half of the first verse, her mic isn't on. Then halfway through the first verse you hear a guy going "Check, one two", and they gave her another corded mic, that's like at Volume level 2...you can barely hear her It gets slightly louder throughout the performance. And according to some interviews she's given since then, she and her band couldn't hear anything at all. After the first chorus, I love how she's just smiling and shaking her head
The best though, is 1:58, it's like she became a man for a few seconds You hear this random bad male voice come out of nowhere, 10x louder than anything had been the entire performance....I have no idea who or what it's from, it sounds like someone hijacked the mic You hear him again at the beginning of the last chorus singing some harmony
The singing. The fact that she thought she was killing it up there. The deafening boos at the end. I got so much second-hand embarrassment.
