If he eventually wants to try and rekindle things then great but you shouldn't be trying to be that comfort when he doesn't want it

Why would I hate you? I'm having the same thought process as you and everyone else! I am moving on, I really don't care at this point if we get back together or not. I mean, yeah it'd be nice, but I can live without him.

It just's like knowing someone is making a mistake and you can't do anything about it but let it happen. Is the worst part. Especially when we have so much in common, almost too much in common for it to be a "temporary" type of thing. IDK.

I've been thinking the same as Gavin. Saying that it would be nice if you did get back together with him, you want him to see how big of a mistake he's making, if you did get back together with him you wouldn't mind it. Those aren't statements that somebody who has moved on makes. That's still a little piece of you that's holding out hope for a reconciliation, and you need to let that thought go completely. But like gavin said it's easier said than done.

Yeah, it is easier said than done, but as time goes on it get's a billion times easier. Like now I have work and I'm keeping myself busy, so it's a lot easier. Only time will tell
