Like, we're fans of her and we're excited that we finally got the dates for the release of her first album in over two years. How exactly do you want us to react? "Oh hey that's cool, so anyways here's my Gaga singles rate.."?
How exactly are these reactions any different from fanbases of other artists, TV series, movies etc. Like let people have their excitement, jfc. If you don't like this type of behavior, then maybe you should stay out of base threads.

Also, what does deflating another person's excitement do? Nothing. I respect other artists; stanning for Gaga doesn't preclude me from liking another. Why is one fanbase of such concern to another? Enjoy the music and the artistry and be excited, but don't tear each other down, especially when we all want the same thing from our faves. Negativity is such a useless energy.

It's ATRL for Christ's sake. You seriously don't see stans of other artists do this when something big happens?
Like I get that that can be annoying and be a turnoff or whatever, but I've seen you make multiple posts in this thread today even before the announcement basically sh*ting on everyone's attitude. If those kinds of posts bother you so much, I don't understand why you're even in a base thread.

Except the only post I made that wasn't me STANNING for 'The Fame Monster' was saying to not set yourself up for disappointment, because that happens a lot.

But you did it in such a negative way, just the same way you basically bitched at everyone in this thread that got excited and made exaggerated posts. Like can you just let people be and stop telling them how they should think and how they should react? Complaining about people going "omgomgomg queen" in a base thread when that person has just announced the release date of their new lead single, video and album just comes off as bitchy.
ANYWAYS, so what do you guys make of this?
Decapitated (maybe?) head of the Born This Way video Gaga on a pedestal. It also resembles an actual skull rather than a human head with skull painting (hollowed out eyes and nose, for example). I guess the most obvious answer would be the death of the Born This Way era.
Pretty interesting thing to have at the party.
