Beyonce has done some really, really amazing urban confidence anthems (Upgrade U, Diva), & I appreciate that she is trying a different sound from herself & everyone else, but I think she could've done this in a different way. It doesn't work for me. So I'm really let down. I hope a second single comes out before the album.

Girl is a real letdown, there's nothing special about it, no catchy hooks, no memorable lyrics, chorus etc. You would think she would live up to the hype and deliver but no not with Girl.... To then think that it took her THIS long to make a track like THAT. No ma'am
