In an ideal world, I'd have it:
Week 1 (22nd July) - Surprise return to Twitter, announce dates + debut artwork.
Week 2 (29th July) - Single drops
Week 3 (5th August) - Video debuts
Week 4 (12th August)
Week 5 (19th August) - VMA performance
Week 6 (26th August)
Week 7 (2nd September) - APP launch parties (NYC, London, Tokyo)
Week 8 (9th September) - ARTPOP release

The VMAs are on the 25th of August, so this starts too soon, imo.
IMO, she should:
Return to Twitter with an announcement at the end of July.
Release the single a week or two before the VMAs.
Perform at the VMAs.
Release the video after the VMAs.
Album late September.
The reason I think she should release the video after the VMAs is to keep the momentum going. The single being the lead is going to smash either way, so there's no need in wasting promo by putting out the video so early. The lead will keep itself moving until the VMAs where it will get another push. Then a week or so after the video will give it yet another push! Does this make sense?
IDK about the app stuff, lmao. That can come a week or so before the album.
