You & I = should not have been released outside the US, ended up killing the momentum for Marry the Night in many countries.

Marry the Night = Ridiculously long video.

Born This Way => Did decently (it's her least selling lead single) on the charts, but lacked of longevity + that long dark video didn't help either.

Judas => got prematurely killed the moment it started dropping on the charts and lacked of radio support

TEOG => Didn't got a real music video...

You and I => Should never have been a single

MTN => Everyone thought it was going to smash, so I don't know what went wrong (it's not just the music video, the song was struggling to even reach itune's top100). The GP was sick and tired of her I guess...

your 100% right though. but they learned from the mistakes and will fix everything with ARTPOP. i still love btw its an amazing album its just the singles were disorganized thats all ! on the bright side the album sold 7M Worldwide and is over and done with so now we just have to look forward and support Gaga to the fullest for ARTPOP !

On two recent Interscope Records industry email blasts (its "Top 40 Fact Sheet"), a simple closing line has shown at the end, after the label has filled in radio/records/trades on other current releases. Four words:

"COMING SOON: LADY GAGA!"

No other details from the label yet, but that's something at least. Going by the timeframe of prior such emails, perhaps the next month or so will bring her new single? Interscope likely wouldn't be offering that tease if a marketing plan for new music isn't almost set to launch.

Gaga, meanwhile, is already stepping back into the spotlight. She sang the national anthem a capella a week ago at New York's Gay Pride kick-off rally at Pier 26, even tweaking a lyric for the occasion: "Oh say, does our star-spangled flag of pride yet wave ..."
