- Ralts has 0 physical level up moves and Gallade has like 8 or 9.
- That's subjective, but the reason people are making the comparison is because they look alike.
- Sneasel and Weavile don't share abilities. Snorunt and Froslass don't share abilities.
- Surskit lives in ponds, and Masquerain hides itself in trees.
- Snorunt has 0 ghost moves and Froslass has like 7
- The last time - except Sylveon which was quite clearly an eeveelution from the design and "eon" - we had cross gen evos was 10 years ago. Things change. Their marketing plans changed.
Spin it any way you want to, but there's no confirmation one way or the other. There's no definite way of saying if its the evolution or not. Didn't you also say, when we were discussing synchro evolutions, that Ash-Greninja wasn't happening because it was anime-exclusive and so were the Zygarde formes? And you also said they're probably not happening coz they don't do new formes the generation after... but look what happened. Things change. The logic you could have applied in Gen 4 doesn't apply here.
Let people have their fun. I'd like it to be Dunsparce's evo, but I don't think it will. However it's still possible on all accounts.
