I remember Akeelah and the Bee. That movie was pretty good. I hope China doesn't ditch Disney for Nick though. That completely killed Keke's career.
I don't even like KeKe but she's soo stupid for that. We all know that Disney > Nick. Disney is the bigger brand and Disney would make them more popular.

Exactly. In the beginning I thought she was making a smart decision cause she would have her own TV show and be the main lead, but let's be real. True Jackson VP was going nowhere. I liked her music too, but damn that was idiocy. Nick sucks at promoting their artists/stars.

Madea was successful, Akeelah was successful and I'm not sure about Joyful Noise but it just came out in January and it might have done well.
Either way she's getting roles and has some success. She also has Ice Age coming out this year which is gonna be very successful.
I don't like Keke either but she's not a 100% flop. At least she's getting roles.

She was signed to some ghetto music label. Keep It Movin was my jam, but the music videos. Eh, let's leave that alone. She had potential, but her, management were stupid to think Nick actually promotes their artists. And I agree, as bad as a HWR is, at least they're better than unknown labels that can't even get commercials or afford proper music videos. Jump In was the last thing I saw from her.
