Gaga changed. Fans are finally aware of that. She has changed ever since ARTPOP. And I don't think it's a nice change. Her statements over the last few years have been confused and she sometimes contradicts herself, she doesn't care anymore. Yes, she doesn't care. Didn't they plan anything over the last couple of years? What happened? Today we know most of the things she did during her peak years were mainly influenced by her team, that is the ugly truth. She lost that team, apparently she is controling things (apparently) and she is not able to do that. Come on, even indie artists manage their music and concepts better... And they don't need millions and a whole team to do so.
Everything's sad. The saddest part is that the Lady Gaga who wanted to rule the world, who wanted to change the world and the music scene, who was a pop genius apparently doesn't exist. You could say "she changed", yes that's true, but from some of her latest statements it seems like she wasn't has genuine back then as we thought.
Hey girl will remain an album song. I feel like she included it on the album because of the experience she had recording it and how it was an "authentic" creation.
I find the song lengths interesting this time around. I wonder if that was intentional or organic. Some of her longer songs do tend to be a bit extra sometimes.
I have a feeling it's Ronson. He probably gave her the ultimatum on the song legths and the amount of lyrics.
When people were complaining that Perfect Illusion was too short before listened to it. Imagine if she extended the song by adding another ****ing It wasn't lab it wasn't lab.
The albums runtime was probably made to fit for the vinyl format (one vinyl disc can only hold 40-50 minutes of music) and most albums in the 70s were only 40 minutes long and I feel that's what she was inspired by since the album has a very classic 70's record sorta feel

But you yourself said Barbara was #1 there for the most of time, and she had only like 20k digital sales. And probably like 5k or of that was preorders
That David Crosby guy barely charts, He will sell probably like 5k overall and 500 copies will be preorders. So ure saying that's more than Gaga and Bruno?
