I don't understand why some of you think its impossible, or a reach. They do hold similarities with the color palette, the snake like form, the lack of feet, and the wings becoming the white stuff. And obviously the normal typing.
I don't think its happening, but its not impossible.

Dun Dun Dun farce is so repressed tho. Its way of being in relations appears so out of tune w/ Drampa's activities. It makes me think a/t the thing that some1 said earlier a/t the Dragon within Dunsparce. Maybe Flopfarce needs a wake up call in order 4 it to stop bothering w/ the burrowing in earth and wagging its tail
If they evolve into each other Im wondering how the evolution method will happens. A stone? a trade? A kid or the player needs to engage in a ritual w/ the Dunsparce? Tease Game Freak, teeeaaas
Ur getting more radical in ur innovations, i like this! This duo is so promising (altho I still feel the fish dilemma back in 2010 was more lively)

Agree. The description makes me think its not happening but its certainly not impossible.
Also I don't see how the past cross-gen evos marketing means anything. The only cross-gen evo in the last 10 years is Sylveon. The last ones, prior to Sylveon, were all 10 years ago. Things could change.

Dunsparce's HA Rattled boosts Dunsparce after being hit
Both of Drampa's abilities boost him after being hit too

all i know is: Drampa is part normal, has virtually the same color scheme as Dunsparce (same colors used anyway), and while Dunsparce always looks like it's sleeping, Drampa looks like it's constantly awake .. maybe it has something to do w/ awakening the dragon potential inside Dunsparce 🐣 it's either a low key Remoraid/Octillery tea or a high key Luvdisc/Alomomoa tea

No. See, their designs don't match whatsoever, which is only part one, but their other characteristics don't match at all either. Drampa's Special Attack is raised with its ability and its moves so far indicate that it is specially oriented, but Dunsparce is a primarily physical Pokemon with focus on HP and no level-up access to any special move besides Ancient Power. Additionally, its move pool has more Ground and Rock than anything other than Normal - no Dragon. Furthermore, it is described and portrayed as a cave-dwelling burrower, while Drampa is described as a Pokemon that lives two miles high in the mountains.
The evidence is overwhelmingly against this connection!

Cross gen evolutions are pointless. I don't understand why some people want them. We've got megas now so they really don't serve any purpose apart from looking ugly (going by gen4). And I know continuity doesn't really matter in Pokemon but its rediculous for regions to have certain Pokemon and then like 20 years later be like 'oop this one does actually evolve'

Don't really care either way, personally, but you're downplaying the connection.
* Drampa's white arm-wings look like they could have evolved from Dunsparce's white wings. They also have a very similar color palette... Actually pretty much exactly the same except for Drampa's addition of a light green underbelly.
* Both Larvesta and Deino/Zweilous are physically oriented, evolving into SpA Kings Volcarona & Hydreigon.
* As an additional counterpoint, Empoleon has Defiant and plenty of physical moves, yet it is still specially based. This can just be a reverse-empoleon experience.
* Caves can be in mountains... the evolution theme can be Dunsparce who reach the top of the mountain evolve into Drampa, with it's cloud-like appendages.
I'm 50/50 on it, but to say the evidence is "overwhelming" against it is a huge stretch.

I don't think it is impossible either but I think the fandom is collectively not holding its breath after the Luvdisc/Alomomola situation lol

No, you're exaggerating the connection.
Your argument boils down to "one has yellow and green, the other has green with two yellow eyebrows, and they have white wings!"
In both families in which you listed a switch, the movepools still work and the designs match. That does not occur in this case. Empoleon has a mix of special and physical moves; Dunsparce has literally only one special move. Dunsparce is described as being nearly incapable of flight and burrowing under the earth; that is not conducive to two-mile high mountains.
There simply is no connection here. The palettes aren't even that similar; Drampa is primarily green and its only yellow is on its eyebrows. Dunsparce is primarily yellow with green stripes. Dunsparce has not displayed pink eyes (it's displayed none at all). The designs are nothing alike

Yes, the one that's specifically discussed in its description, that we have seen it use, and that was used directly after its Special Attack-raising ability. Problem?

I definitely see why people think Dunsparce could be a Drampa pre-evo, but I don't think it will happen.
Keep speculating though, it's fun to see what people like/want/think Y'all are so aggressive for no reason.
