I'm expecting a mixture of the above. The light and airy with Madeon's gliding electro flourishes, the harder grinding EDM with trap and some quite minimal production that's reminiscent of BDKMV. I'd also like some haunting synth.
I'm envisioning ARTPOP more like a musical tapestry with various flavours tied together by pop, than an "EDM" album.
I'm starting to get super hyped again after this past weekend and her flawless rendition of the SSB. Ugh, she just needs to announce some **** already. And that single better be out next month like Papa Joe said.
And I really get the feeling that she's not gonna release it in November, because it'll be too crowded. I think she'll pull a Taylor Swift and release at the end of October, so that she can have the week to herself, and pull in those giant numbers.
I'd be willing to bet that ARTPOP will be released on October 28th.
