Yeah, I had two parents but I don't think not having parents justifies nasty vile behavior. Rather, it explains where it's coming from. Many people are in the same situation and don't act like that.
I was glad to see nene address that she's hurting. we all know she's hurting
REAL TEA.
The acting roles are not coming they way she expected. She was fortunate enough to land those two shows but it became clear that she was their to tap into the housewives audience seeing that glee was on its last leg when she joined and The new normal was meh.
She's monkey barred her way to the next thing but by now it's clear she has to monkey bar to get her next hustle as opposed to having so many offers for her to pick from. That couple with knowing that the only way she's going to even get those hustles is if she remains on RHOA has to hurt as well.
She seemed so happy and in a good place season 6 and to see that crumble has to be painful on top of the underbelly of pain that is her abandonment issues.
It's not the camera's fault that nene has shown her behind so much.

I do think she was being sincere although her recent interviews definitely show that she's back to the old Nene which explains your comment.
That was my point last night. Could you imagine Nene doing what cynthia did? NO.
She didn't even do that when Nene shaded her daughter she looked like Kandi did to her. Like , WTF is going on. Nene stans forget that though. I think what set her off was when Kenya brought up how they have more in common than not because of the abandonment situation.
She was already feeling it but after Kenya commented it got too real for her and she wanted to run away.
I still believe her disdain for Kenya comes from two things
1) the fact that Kenya reminds her of her own struggle with abandonment because she can't suppress it with Kenya there
2) the fact that Nene thought she would be on her way out of RHOA and Kenya would replace her as the next HBIC but then hollywood didn't exactly work for her so then she was in this precarious place where she elevated then went back down to RHOA then hustled her way to short lived gigs only to still not get where she was during the ryan murphy phase of her career. Talking down to her cast mates but then being in the same place as them (the same thing she said at the reunion to Phaedra when Phaedra wanted to read her resume off to Nene and Nene reminded her that despite all of that she is on the same show).
Kenya outsmarts her and when she wants Kenya to go off, kenya doesn't but Kenya has to do very little to wind Nene up.

I hear you. I don't think Nene was full of it...I will say that i do think she knew this breakthrough would be a good move for her.
Kandi is real. She's richer than ALL of those girls combined and humble.
PEOPLE SEEM TO FORGET that Nene really came for Kandi on and off camera. Kandi even addressed that Nene did an interview exposing some things about Kandi off camera (on a radio show) and ever since then Kandi has not trusted Nene...then baring in mind how Nene has friends and then triesto throw them under the bus on "mad day"...Kim, Lisa, sheree, Marlo, Kenya, Phaedra, Cynthia etc.

I think Phaedra might still be offered next season.
Not sure about Porsha.
I liked her the most this season but she's pretty worthless outside of looks and high school shade she throws

Yeah, the first thing I noticed was how rude she was to kenya when andy brought it up but then to see her in action...she just talked about not being the victim but then breaks through with the tears.
I believe they were real but the irony is evident

Nene fans are mad that Kandi not only has multiple decades of success but is worth more than all of her castmates combined and continues to find success with various ventures.
I can't fault Kandi for being real. She wasn't rude to me. She could have rolled her eyes or made a snarky remark or laughed which would make me think she was being rude...but she didn't
Season 8 already feels like it's going to be season 6 all over again.
