Wet was already widely available, so it sold already the moment that she annouched it as single, she just had 3 top 3 singles with one of them being even a #1, the whole circumstances were different.
Boomerang is a new song, it has to put her back again on the charts after a year of not releasing music. While Wet was the 4th single of a succesful row of singles.
now only BBC1 and Capitol have to follow
