OMG. Rita slayed me, I love 'ORA' after the first listen.
Facemelt
7.5/10 - an amazing intro, but this song is definitely too good to be that short. So I hope that we'll get a full version later.
Roc The Life
8/10 - a great song, especially the verses but the chorus is a little too repetitive. I see this song being a single though.
How We Do (Party)
8/10 - even though many people call this song generic and unoriginal, I really like it. I've been jamming to this since it premiered on the radio and still play it very often.
R.I.P. -
7/10 - a nice song but it got old kinda fast and is not that special compared to some other album tracks.
Radioactive
9.5/10 - the highlight of the album, a catchy production, great vocals and energy. I see this being a big worldwide hit for Rita, maybe even her first #1 on Billboard Hot 100 if well promoted. A shame that it wasn't a lead single in the States.
Shine Yo Light
8/10 - I expected it to sound more epic after hearing live versions and a snippet but it's still a great song.
Love And War -
8.5/10 - this song is definitely one of my faves from 'ORA'. I can see it being a hit in the USA and getting urban support since J. Cole is on it.
Uneasy
8/10 - a fun song. Very catchy.
Fall In Love
6/10 - probably my least fave track, but it's not that bad as I thought it would be.
Been Lying
8.5/10 - this song is almost perfect but the lyrics didn't let me to do it a bigger rating.
Hello, Hi Goodbye
7.5 - Rita has a great voice, but she needs to show it more on ballads like this. Still a great track. I need to hear more ballads from her.
Hot Right Now
8.5/10 - a very catchy Pop/Dance song.
Crazy Girl
6.5 - not a bad track, but it just lacks something. Glad that it slayed where it should be - on deluxe only.
Young, Single, Sexy
9.5/10 - the best bonus track, should've been on the standart edition. Rita served with her vocals. I want more songs like this from her.
Meet Ya -
6.5 - Just like 'Crazy Girl'. It's ok, but not that special.
My overall rating - 7.8
A very solid debut album, hopefully Rita will continue to grow as a musician and can make even better records in the future.
