Haha. It probably does. That was a great day.
The good thing about the modified version of "Picture To Burn" is that you can't even tell that anything has changed. The new line sounds natural. The old version, though, is like a little secret for fans, I suppose.

Well, that comes to my mind too. And the media def will blow it out of the actual context, she doesn't need another ****.
But what I mean with 'showing true colour' is, do whatever she wants to do, without feeling the need to have a perfect image. We all know she's a sarcastic bitch in real life (she's a nice person tho, no doubt about it).
Oh dude, you've met her? Jealous. Lol. (I'm just being over dramatic btw)
Btw, I wonder if she will go to Bonnaroo this year, since a lot of her friends & her faves will perform there.
|
I think her age and maturity level played a role in her writing that line. The Taylor of today wouldn't write that line--not because she's trying to put up a perfect image, but because she's simply more mature.
She's got a great personality in both interviews and her songs. You can tell by her lyrics that she has a sarcastic side, and I love that. "Better Than Revenge" is a particularly biting song. haha
Yeah, it was awesome meeting her. I was getting jealous of my other friends who kept on running into her around town (at local coffee shops, restaurants, small concerts, walking on the sidewalk), so I made sure to go to the Enchanted launch. I still want to see her just being candid, hanging around Nashville. I haven't gotten that lucky yet.
She might go to Bonnaroo. That would be exciting.

You need to beat Bon Iver's road manager first then. Good luck.

Yes,vme and my family are still used to the gay version, whenever it comes on we always sing that line, I don't have it anymore though since I got a new computer
And I plan on going to college in Nashville, one week when I'm off I gotta go on a full on Taylor hunt!

Yep, I know. Proved me wrong with "Dear John". Epic song, that one.
OH! In "Better Than Revenge", I see her stop pushing the whole 'precocious' & 'virginal' ***** that's been going on since Fearless era. But with her SURPRIZE FACE, we've got stuff to do. I mean, she's a rock-star, big one, how do you expect the public to accept it now?
One who wants to meet her the most, are the ones that rarely got the chance. #weveallbeenthere - btw, I heard she's real nice in real life. Kinda funny that many ppl in internet still trying to tell **** about her by (most likely) pretending as went to the same school with her, etc.
Hoping she'll go to Bonnaroo. She's known for going to a lot of shows by under-the-radar artists, unexpected (read a lot of posts about that online ofc). Now, will she skip it if she has the time? With this kind of lineup - http://lineup.bonnaroo.com/?

****! Fellow Strokes fans! Knew it, most of Swiftians have amazing taste in music. lol.
Tbh, I was wishing for a Strokes cameo for the last 2 NYC shows. Or simply just Julian alone, or Albert alone. And it never happened. But all is good tho with a James Taylor cameo.
And, are you sure she has never heard abt The Strokes? They were pretty big right? She has a spot in her heart for indie bands/artists, ones that aren't pop acts, look at her latest iTunes playlist. Right now, I'm a mission to pass that "Oh My Love" song to her. That song is just too beautiful to be left on YouTube only.

Yeah, you should look into colleges in Nashville. Maybe Vanderbilt or Belmont. Both are pretty close to where the musicians hang out or work.
Her brother Austin also lives here. He's in his 2nd or 3rd year at Vanderbilt. I've passed by him a couple of times on campus, which is just awkward. lol

That song alone, trumps those songs in BBHot100, quality wise of course.
Now I'm hoping with 4th album, she'll get rid that trade-mark face. One need to have a talk with her about this topic.

So true. Too bad it's not really radio friendly.

Best of luck in applying and everything!
LOL, no, I would feel so creepy saying "hi." Maybe if we had a class together or something, but otherwise I would just look like a creeper. haha

OT, I still had a beef with US uni system, with the Ivies especially. They blacklisted my former high-school. Found out abt it when I sent an application to one of them, got rejected without further explanation than 'Sorry, we don't take anymore students' & ********s like that, while my grades were met the qualifications. F.

Well, radio system is no longer relevant anyway. lol. But she needs to release that song on a 7" vinyl and I'll gladly buy it.

Yeah, they're amazing.
I'm not even gay, but I have a total man crush on Julian.
And yeah, you may be right. I've been surprised in the past to see that she knows of so many lesser-known artists/songs.

Nope, but I visit US quite often tho.
I hate that Speak Now is the only one with vinyl treatment, and a bad one (the compression ). If BMR release all the albums & singles on vinyl, here I am that will buy each copy of them.

Julian = the definition of Hottie. And no one's gonna argue with that
Oh dude, I remember that I ever read somewhere that she likes Sigur Ros too. I mean, other than indie ppl, I'm not sure that many Americans know that band.
