Because the new songs from Friday are falling, sales are at their lowest point (meaning the Instant Grat can climb to its highest spot possible and get more exposure) and they don't have to compete with other releases.

They're not going to pay top dollar for a new banner and top tracks placement, meaning if it was released on Friday, it would be overshadowed by other releases. It's not like the songs have a shot at a #1 debut so it's not that important that they don't have a full-week first release.
