coudn't agree more.I think it just made people reliase that even though its entertaining and thrilling to have artists who are OTT and "conventional",its not really something you want to have all the time and distracts a lot from the music.Adele just sort of let the music do the talking ,most people i know hadn't even "seen" her until towards the end of the year(2011) when there was so much news about her selling amazingly welll and even in 2011 it was almost like she was there but people were more interested in her music then any other parts of her.
In a way it also did make industry people realise that there are tons of people still willing to buy albums evenin the current state of the industry.Everyone sort of stopped and re-thought the way they thought about music because of the album,but tbh i was hoping this would open doors for more artists of diffent styles to come through and have almost the same if not equal success but i know its not really likely.
