If you participate actively in stan culture and ways of thinking and personality/musical output are not the top two reasons you're stanning for someone, you've got a problem. "TOTES sleighing!" is just an occasional plus. If your favorite artist was no longer successful, would you still care about them? Do you actually support them at the end of the day? Do you actually stand behind racism/misogyny/etc.? Questions we must ask.
