Leaks normally happen when the cds are being distributed to the placer where they will be sold. This is normally done 1 week before, hence why Born This Way leaked on the wednesday before...

That's not possible. They have to ship out physical's like a week in advance, which is usually when a album is leaked.

The only way to do that is to ensure a digital only release the first day or week and then release it to physical retailers afterwards. That's how watch the throne didn't leak. I doubt gagas team would do that though.
