Gaga's family is the most important thing to her. If she saw Taylor treating his mother like **** when she met her, I honestly don't think they would be together just based on the type of person Gaga is. In her eyes, treating his mother well reflects on him being a loving guy. If he cares for his family so much, he will do the same for gaga. She says she loves him for a simple reason, he genuinely treats the ones he loves with respect and would do anything for them cause he really loves them. Her last boyfriend treated her like ****, so Taylor being the total opposite is the reason why "it's simple, it's the way you love and treat your mother" is there. She never got that sort of treatment from Luc which is why gaga cherishes this part of Taylor so much.
In the song, gaga only answered the "why do we love each other" question.

It deserves the vote too, definitely the best. I love the Lana one too but they haven't really done anything that hasn't already been done in Lana's photo catalogue.
