I feel as if the plan was for Nicki to be the female Drake and I mean that in terms musical success. The truth of the matter is that it'll never happen. Women will never garner the same respect that men have in Hip-Hop. Now, if Nicki was just as strong of a singer as she is a rapper, it could have probably happened.
