I think those worldwide numbers may be off a few weeks. He was at 880,000 a couple of weeks ago. He should be over 900,000 now.

Yeah it's an approximate, the two weeks labeled as "NA" are when Chris didn't make Top 40 but still obviously sold copies. My guess is that with this week's upcoming numbers he should be around 930-940K

I know.
I think they got the opposite of what they thought would happen. They underestimated Chris and overestimated Britney and it ended up being the other way around. Still, how they can certify something plat after selling like 400k and selling less every single week, and F.A.M.E has sold almost 700k by now and it's still only certified gold is beyond me.

They did it for Britney because it gives it her a "good look", with at that time announcing her tour and "TTWE" blowing up. It's better for press releases and media to say write in articles "Platinum certified album", than no official title and it's slow sales.
There also isn't really an under/over estimate, since Chris has only sold 50k more than Britney at this point, since he did release a week earlier. They're both selling at the same rate now, stable, so he'll keep that 7-day edge on her.

It's my birthday today  and twitter went ham on my ass, karrueche, polow da don, chris' mom, jasmine sanders, and a lot more wished me a happy birthday already, i'm lucky as ****!
Anyway, glad chris got 2 nods for the VMA's, but they ain't **** for not having yeah 3x as the best choreo, i mean, BRUNO MARS? SMH lmao
