I think that the sudden change in the sales was due to the doughnut scandal. By saying the I hate America part, she lost the demographic of people who buy music - i.e the conservative, patriotic people of America. Now that people had a "reason" to hate her, she lost even more of the buying crowd.
Whilst her streaming is great, I don't think it is as good as it used to be. Now I don't have any evidence of that and sure DW hit 1 Billion quicker than ME but that was just due to inevitable change to the streaming era.

All the people you mentioned didn't even buy her music are you serious? Old ass conservative who actually think she hates America weren't the ones buying her music..... also her streaming IS better than during the ME era, i think that era was so big we didn't really realize but for instance even Dangerous Woman her most boring visual had more views after 3 days than Problem & Break Free after a week now they won't have the same longevity that's another story, the point is her streaming power has only gotten bigger while sales were already in a pit regardless of a donut scandal

I know it was! They estimated it would sell 48,000 for the week ending 12/1 and it only did 38,000 though :/ Is it because of the 'complete album' thing? or they just overestimated it?

Wtf? Why is the album free falling in SPS now?  The next single and the tour better give it a big boost.
300k probably next week though!  Not great but it sounds so much better than 200k! Hopefully 400k in the long run!
