What is the label waiting for to send this version without rap to pop?

From now on,I don't think we should bother about the chart performance of this song since bey doesn't seem to care,if she cared she and her team would have sent it to pop by now.
I mean why should we care about her success when she obviously doesn't?

I'm starting to worry if she is even going to promote the song anymore. She has about two and a half weeks before she goes back on tour. If the label does not send it to pop, I think it will perform well for an urban only single. It is expected to hit top 10 on BB this week. Sending it to pop will undeniably make it last longer on the charts. I am, however, skeptical at pop radios desire to play Beyonce' at this point. It seems that they turned their backs on "XO" even though it was one of her most pop friendly songs to date. It makes me question their willingness to play an urban cut like "Drunk in Love." All in all, I am proud of the number of units that the album has moved thus far, and I am proud of the success of DrIL.

Columbia HAS sent it to pop (at least I think so there was an image a few pages back)
Tracking week has ended now, will find out Wednesday if we got her the top 10

All the people that are usually spot on or close with their predictions in the Hot 100 thread all predicted it to go Top 10. I think it's set in stone tbh

I'm worried she is going to let the era fizzle out. Once she is back on tour, that is pretty much it.
It started so well, so it would be a shame if she doesn't do more.

lol kinda annoying that she feels too big to promote. I understand that she's bigger than just singles at this point but singles promote albums and if she doesn't promote, the sales will fade away while albums like Unorthodox Juicebox go on with their longevity.

Well there is more to look forward to, Interviews, BET Awards, VMAs, and next years Grammys. But it is obvious she is more concerned about being a touring act than a singles artist. She is getting a big bulk of money from her tours and more $$$ means more creative eras in the future.

I'm happy she's going top 10. but I'm paying attention to the pop updates. because if pop radio reject her I wonder who's gonna eat Pretty Hurt or Blow that are the album-sellers to me.

I do not think it has been officially sent to pop, there has been an e-mail service that says "coming soon".
________
The song is for sure going top 10 this week, probably #6 or #7 which is HUGE for an urban hit

XO just wasn't as instant as DIL or Pretty Hurts, I guess. It did take a couple of listens for me to love it. Pretty Hurts has so many covers on YT already and was doing better on a global scale than XO when the songs were released for individual purchase. If radio doesn't play that when it's a single, they're stupid.
I don't think DIL was officially sent to pop yet so for right now, it's doing great on the format all things considered

I'm sure Bey and her team have everything planned out well. I refuse to believe that she'll let this era fade.

: I agree. the first time I heard XO I was confused until the chorus burst while Pretty Hurt was the first song I picked as my favorite before Partition, No Angel, Rocket said HELLO! .

I think she's pulling an Adele. Let the music speak for itself. I truly appreciate her for that, she's on another level. But on the other hand her performances are what give her songs even more life so I'm really curious what she has planned. I hope she didn't take Ghost's lyrics too seriously though

Was the DirectTV Drunk in Love performance ever broadcast? It has TV in the name so it would seem so, or was it just a concert? I want HQ footage of that performance I love how free it was while still slaying. Her bouncing was so cute.
