Yes it's true that 21 has equalled Thriller for wks in the UK Top Ten if we consider only Thriller's original chart run (and not the 25th anniversary edition/impact of MJ's death).
It needs 2 more weeks in the US to equal it there as well. And signs are that it will certainly still be in the top ten this coming week.

She already has in terms of chart performance, in terms of WW album sales just a week or two away at current sales levels I'd say. Although she has a ways to go to catch " Come away with Me's" US sales which sit around 10.8 million. After this weeks sales 21 will be aound 9.7 million in US sales.
Right, only a couple of months ago for example people were actually doubting that 21 would spend more weeks in the top 10 than "Jagged Little pill". ..
At least it's 21 though, I can let that one go. 
No really, worldwide she did a few months back, but US, she's getting very very close.
