I think it's a grower. The lyrical arrangement is a bit odd at first, but this is good production by Zedd as usual. It's a risky second single though.

Edit: Just noticed that her main vocals sound like she's bored or tired in comparison to the production,

And most mainstream EDM is pretty generic, that doesn't make it bad. It just means that it's up to the vocalist to elevate the material. If they can't, well...
