Just finished FF13. OMG Vanille and Fang. It's so cute but sad at the same time. The ending was beautiful but made me depressed I'm gonna play FF13-2 tomorrow.

XIII-2 from a gameplay standpoint is miles better but the story is an incoherent mess which has little tie in with XIII other than the characters and some flashbacks.

It's still an enjoyable experience the story is just bad and Lightning Returns is an even worse offender.

This is most of the good selection on PS3, that era was tragic for JRPGs. Thankfully this gen is turning out to be much better.

Okay, I've started playing Persona 2 again. I forgot how tragic the battle mechanics are. It's almost unplayable ngl.

The story, however, remains the best in the series. I hope they reference the stories/characters from the older games in P5, I doubt they will though.

I've only played 2 hours of FF13-2 and I like it so far. I don't know much about the story yet but [spoiler] Lightning slays and the Valhalla plot is super cool but the time travel thing is unnecessary. New Bodhum is so beautiful especially at night. And the Bodhum theme slays I hope I can finish the trilogy before FF15 comes out.

I'll have to resist the temptation to import the JP one but I know for sure I'll have to import the US one seeing as Eu/Aus releases are always so delayed Really depends on the DLC though...

I hated the gameplay change in Suikoden III

I wasn't a fan of the buddy system, but I adored the skill system. Definitely gave a lot of depth to characters. Suikoden III had the best story IMO. It got a lot of flack only because III broke a lot of Suikoden traditions.
